Daeva
The Daeva are creatures of passion and desire. Their blood runs hot by undead standards, pulling them toward obsession — with people, with sensations, with the hunt. They are seductive and magnetic, and they know it. Whether this makes them charming or dangerous depends entirely on the individual, and often it is both.

The Daeva's passion turns against them through their feeding. When a Daeva feeds repeatedly from the same victim, they begin to develop an obsession with that person — thinking about them, seeking them out, prioritising their wellbeing in ways that can compromise judgement and self-interest. The deeper the feeding history, the stronger the pull.
History
The Daeva have existed wherever beauty and power intersect, which is to say everywhere. Courts, theatres, salons, anywhere humans gather to be seen — the Daeva have always found a home. Their internal culture tends toward the dramatic, and their history is full of intense relationships, bitter betrayals, and spectacular rises and falls.
