Clans
A clan is the vampiric lineage a Kindred is born into at their embrace. It is not chosen — it is inherited from the sire, passed down through the blood. It shapes the Kindred's body, instincts, and weaknesses from the moment of death.
Each clan carries two things universally: a set of powers that come naturally to its members, and a unique weakness — a flaw woven into the blood itself that no power or practice can fully overcome.
Members of a clan often feel a natural kinship with one another, but there is no inherent loyalty owed to one's clan. Kindred are individuals first, and whatever loyalty they extend to their clanmates is a product of their own experience and character.
